Amusingly enough, I list myself as a Fantasy Writer... yet have no actual submitted written materials. Funny, no? I find myself enjoying doing photography then I had in years past. Maybe its because I'm getting older and my tastes are changing, or I've simply found another hobby. Some of the newest submissions are from an outing that I went on with my wife today, to a place in Rochester MN called Quarry Hill. Its labeled as a "Nature Center" and most of the exhibits/items in their are indeed things found in the area. They did, however, have an exhibit going through the end of this month called "Creatures of the Deep" or something along those lines. They had three full size, fully assembled fossils there, and I hope to have those submitted by the end of the weekend pending any other troubles. There were a few other smaller fossils that the pictures turned out great on.
When I get back home (hopefully we'll get the all clear by the end of April), I plan on taking some pictures of the campus of the University I work at, as well as a few of the more photographic streets on my home town. What you won't see is a ton of people in my submitted pictures. I suck at taking shots of people. The environment works much better.
If anyone would like to use some of the landscape/scenery/architecture pictures I've submitted so far, all that I ask is you provide credit on the base image. If I find that someone starts taking my work and not giving credit...well, that's pretty crummy of you, isn't it?
